Drew Manzie
Friends,
Firstly I would like to thank you on behalf of Jennifer and Kenneth and
the Centre for Sport and Recreation for the condolences and kind words
that you have expressed on Drew's passing. He was a remarkable person
and certainly deserving of the many plaudits we have received.
The main purpose of this email though is to inform you of the
arrangements to mark Drew's passing and other administrative matters.
Jennifer and Kenneth have indicated that they would be happy to receive
cards of condolence to the house address of:

Castlehead
Paisley PA2 6AP
They have also requested 'NO FLOWERS'! As you will all be aware Drew was not really a 'flowery' person.
There will be a collection taken, however, in aid of the Accord Hospice
both at the Crematorium and the Barony Hall.
Drew made some special requests regarding how his passing would be
marked and the undernoted arrangements reflect these.
Two events will be held on Monday 1st September, 2008
At 12.00noon a private service for family and invited close friends will
be held at the Woodside Crematorium in Paisley. This will be followed by
a more informal celebration of Drew's life at the University of
Strathclyde's Barony Hall at 2.30pm which is expected to last
approximately an hour after which some simple refreshments will be
available. This is available to all and we would be delighted if you
could join us.

would ask that you simply complete the 'Subject' line with "Drew Manzie
Celebration - Yes". If you are responding on behalf of others as well as
yourself merely add the number after the 'Yes'.
