River Access (upstream of weir)

March 11, 2006:

On Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th March a firm will be carrying out riverbed surveys at Dalmarnock and Polmadie Bridges.

This will entail a 4.5metre boat with 10hp engine with 3-4 engineers on board. They will launch at the GHS who have spoken with them and explained that they are expected to proceed at a dead slow pace throwing up as little wash as possible.

They have also been shown how fragile racing craft are and given a copy of our Rules and Guidelines.

Again we will keep you in touch with developments
